As of 1st of Jan 2021, all online payments within EU is required to have an additional layer, involving strong customer authentication. Therefore, we have introduced 3D secure payment on our site.
What this means for you: When you go to pay for your booking, you will be asked to confirm payments by entering a secret number received by SMS or a code generated by smartphone app or with a biometric identifier like a fingerprint or facial recognition. You will be informed about the elements needed to confirm the payment by your financial institution (personal telephone number, smartphone app, etc.)
If your payment is being declined, please check that you have typed your credit card details correctly, and that you have sufficient funds on your account.
If your card is enrolled in 3D Secure, check that you are authenticating correctly using the method provided by your bank.
Most often, declines are caused by misstyped credit card details or passwords.
If you need help investigating why your payment was declined, please contact the bank that issued your credit card. You can help them by providing the approximate time of the transaction, and the amount.
Lastly, if your bank is unable to help, please retry your booking after a few hours.
